Why Boston Cab Drivers Don't Want You to Use Your Credit Card
Have you ever gotten into a Boston cab and been told by the driver that their credit card machine is broken? It’s been happening a lot in Boston, though it’s against the law for drivers to tell passengers this if untrue.
Boston Public Radio spoke with Mike (full name withheld), a former Boston cab driver and current owner of a Revere cab company, who explained why Boston cab drivers hate taking credit cards.
