Suffolk County Sheriff's Spokesman To Become New Sheriff

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick tapped Steve Tomkins to become the next Suffolk County Sheriff.  He replaced outgoing Sheriff Andrea Cabral, who left the post to become the Secretary of Public Safety. The appointment has left some questioning his credentials, as his experience seems to only be by proxy as the Sheriff's spokesman. Emily Rooney spoke with The Boston Herald's Dave Wedge.
