Should The Feds Release Former MA House Leader Sal DiMasi From Prison?

Is it time to release Sal DiMasi, or at least move him closer to Massachusetts? Was his sentence too harsh, or entirely just?

Former Massachusetts Speaker of the House Sal DiMasi is serving an eight-year bid in North Carolina for a conviction on federal corruption charges. DiMasi was found guilty of accepting improper payments to influence state business. DiMasi learned he had cancer while serving time.
