Perils Of Over-Praising

If you’re a parent or grandparent, you know the joy you get from seeing a child succeed, whether it’s on the soccer field or on a math quiz. You also know the feeling of watching your kid struggle and the impulse to help them through it. 

But a new study finds showering praise on kids with low self-esteem actually does more damage to their self-image.
