How Much Will You Pay for Coffee in the Future?

Is a $7 cup of coffee in our future? Climate change could render a coffee shortage by 2080.

There could be a cup half-empty scenario brewing for coffee lovers, literally and figuratively.  Climate change could have a huge effect on the supply and cost of coffee, according to a recent study. Up to 70 percent of the world's coffee supply could be wiped out by 2080.

Boston Public Radio looked at coffee from all angles--supply and demand; how far we're willing to go to pay for a cup of joe; and what it takes to brew that perfect cup.
