Four Churches Sharing a Sacred Space in Brockton
Here on Boston Public Radio, we love a good roundtable. Emily Rooney has her week in review each Friday. Callie Crossley regularly takes us under the radar with a roundtable of hyper-local news gatherers. We’ve had a number of concert roundtables. But today, we convened our first ever pastor roundtable.
The inspiration? An old stone church on Main Street in Brockton, MA. Like many churches, there are a number of services held here each Sunday. Unlike almost any other, those services are held by four different pastors, leading four different flocks, of four different faiths.
Today on BPR, three of the four pastors joined us to discuss the opportunities and challenges of sharing a sacred space.
Guests:
- Rev. Daniel L. Michel, Haitian Church of God of Deliverance
- Pastor Mark Peterson, First Evangelical Lutheran Church
- Pastor Moses O. Sowale, Grace Chapel
