Demystifying The Missing Malaysian Jet

Genuine mysteries are rare, but that seems to be what we have with Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

There’s the theory that the Boeing 777 bound for Beijing took an unexplained left turn before disappearing.

Greater Boston spoke with oceanographer David Gallo, who has unique insight into the investigation. Gallo was the co-leader of the team that located the wreckage of Air France Flight 447 in 2011 - two years after it vanished over the Atlantic.

The Malaysian air force, with help from about a dozen other nations, continues to search the seas on both sides of the Malay Peninsula for any sign of Flight 370.
