A Conversation with Boston College's 'Dancing Priest'

Well it says in the book of Ecclesiastes that there is a season for everything: A time for tears, a time for laughter; a time for mourning, a time for dancing. It's a bible verse that Father Robert VerEecke, S.J. takes to heart.

He's the Pastor of St Ignatius Church and Boston College's Jesuit artist-in-resident. And if that title strikes you as odd, consider what Ecclesiastes says. There is a time for everything. Even dancing. And dancing happens to be Father VanEecke’s specialty. He joined us in the BPR studios ahead of the premiere of one of his signature dance pieces of the year, Christmas Reflections.
