Taped by WGBH Forum Network, author Cheryl LaRoche visited the Museum of African American History to talk about her book, Free Black Communities and the Underground Railroad: The Geography of Resistance.

LaRoche talks about the geography of black communities, from slavery to today.  She also discusses why black history isn't just black history - it's history, and how educators can teach history better.
