MBTA General Manager Beverly Scott joined Jim Braude and Margery Eagan for "Ask the GM." Scott talked about new cars for MBTA lines, bus schedules, a new commuter rail operator, and extensions of rail lines.

Also on BPR:

  • FRONTLINE director James Jones talked to Jim and Margery about Tuesday's premiere of Secret State of North Korea, about life under North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un.
  • Are we ever safe from selfies? Bars in Brooklyn are trying out a "no selfie" policy — saying no to intrusions of phones and cameras in public spaces. Realistic, or draconian?
  • Nancy Koehn discussed the dueling Antarctic trips of Roald Amundsen and Robert Falcon Scott — and the leadership lessons that can be gleaned from their experiences. Koehn is a historian at the Harvard Business School.
